SPOTTED FLYCATCHERS

This is a request, please, to start looking out for birds now, and to let me know immediately you see one, whether ringed or not, at: spofl@cambridgebirdclub.org.uk

Our highest priority target, which we need to catch, are the geolocator-tagged birds with red metal rings. We need to download the tag data to see where the birds have been. Second in importance are our un-tagged controls, with blue metal rings. There will also be birds around which we have ringed as nestlings; these will just have an uncoloured silver metal ring.

Swavesey - 2 WAXWING by the MG garage briefly this morning (Luke Wake)

Melbourn - WAXWING in Fordham Way briefly this morning (Ade Cooper)

Ouse Washes - 4 Tundra Bean Geese, c.3500 Whooper Swan, 9 White-fronted Geese, 2 Barnacle Geese, Scaup, 51 Tree Sparrow, 38 White-fronted Geese over south c.15:00h (Jonathan Taylor); Great White Egret roosting at Sutton Gault (Mark Peck)
