Bird ranging quite widely. Sometimes in hedge alongside the Drift (viewed from end of first field after the end of Watt's wood), sometimes much further along the Drift where it drops down, mostly in the hedge east of and parallel to the Drift running south from Watt's wood (Stu Butchart); 25 Golden Plover (Ed Gill)

Comberton - GREAT GREY SHRIKE. TL 39067 55843. Entering the village from Cambridge, turn left at the mini-roundabout. After 50m the road becomes a track (The Drift). Park here, walk about 400m along the track. The shrike was in the field on the left after the small wood (Watts Wood). Mostly perched in the hedge at the back of the field but twice flew to the hedge next to the track, giving close views (Mike Crosby)
