Fen Drayton - 2 male and a redhead Smew on Far Fen lake, Black-necked Grebe on Drayton Lagoon. Flood levels continue to rise and have now cut off large sections of the footpath on the southern side of Elney Lake. The Disabled car park is currently flooded; the main car park on Holywell Ferry Road is closed; the path along the Oxholme Drain, on the eastern side of Drayton Lagoon, is impassable; the path along the Moore Brook, between Elney Lake and Moore Lake, is impassable. The bridleways bewteen Elney lake and Oxholme Lake and along the western side of Drayton Lagoon are flooded. Please take great care if visiting the reserve and be aware that the current flood watch status could be upgraded (Andy Cotton)
