SPOTTED FLYCATCHERS

This is a request, please, to start looking out for birds now, and to let me know immediately you see one, whether ringed or not, at: spofl@cambridgebirdclub.org.uk

Our highest priority target, which we need to catch, are the geolocator-tagged birds with red metal rings. We need to download the tag data to see where the birds have been. Second in importance are our un-tagged controls, with blue metal rings. There will also be birds around which we have ringed as nestlings; these will just have an uncoloured silver metal ring.

Sutton Gault - 2 Bewick's Swans and a few Whoopers still, 11 Fieldfare heading north and an amazing 46 Water Pipit and 1 Rock Pipit to roost (David Hopkins)

Ouse Washes - Great White Egret a mile north of Earith (David Griffiths)

Nene Washes - Spotted Redshank, 5 Yellow Wagtail, 31 Whooper Swan, Willow Warbler (Charlie Kitchin)
