SPOTTED FLYCATCHERS

This is a request, please, to start looking out for birds now, and to let me know immediately you see one, whether ringed or not, at: spofl@cambridgebirdclub.org.uk

Our highest priority target, which we need to catch, are the geolocator-tagged birds with red metal rings. We need to download the tag data to see where the birds have been. Second in importance are our un-tagged controls, with blue metal rings. There will also be birds around which we have ringed as nestlings; these will just have an uncoloured silver metal ring.

Eldernell/March Farmers - Grey Plover briefly, 3 Garganey, White Wagtail, 4 Cetti's Warbler (Mike Weedon); also 17 Crane (Richard Gregory)

Ouse Washes - 2 Garganey, 2 Curlew, 2 Avocet, 1665 Black-tailed Godwit, 10 Scaup (Brendan Doe)

Cam Washes - 16 Avocet, Green Sandpiper (Carl Howard)
