SPOTTED FLYCATCHERS

This is a request, please, to start looking out for birds now, and to let me know immediately you see one, whether ringed or not, at: spofl@cambridgebirdclub.org.uk

Our highest priority target, which we need to catch, are the geolocator-tagged birds with red metal rings. We need to download the tag data to see where the birds have been. Second in importance are our un-tagged controls, with blue metal rings. There will also be birds around which we have ringed as nestlings; these will just have an uncoloured silver metal ring.

Sutton, North Fen - Brent Goose, 20 Barnacle Geese, Whooper Swan (Brendan Doe)

Burwell Fen - Merlin, Peregrine, 7 Short-eared Owls (Malcolm Ausden)

Woodwalton Fen - 2 Bittern sightings, Cetti's Warbler, Bearded Tit calling (Steve Dutton)

Eldernell - CATTLE EGRET, 9 Crane, 2 Short-eared Owl (Dan Barrell)
