SPOTTED FLYCATCHERS

This is a request, please, to start looking out for birds now, and to let me know immediately you see one, whether ringed or not, at: spofl@cambridgebirdclub.org.uk

Our highest priority target, which we need to catch, are the geolocator-tagged birds with red metal rings. We need to download the tag data to see where the birds have been. Second in importance are our un-tagged controls, with blue metal rings. There will also be birds around which we have ringed as nestlings; these will just have an uncoloured silver metal ring.

Earith - 2 male Garganey in flooded field to the west (Mark Eaton)

Foxton - 4 Wheatears on east side of Fowlmere Road (Matthew Mellor)

Fowlmere - 2 Turtle Doves, 2+ Cetti's Warbler (Mike Foley)

Ouse Washes - 2 pairs of COMMON SCOTER off Witcham Gravel this evening (David Hopkins)

Whittlesey - QUAIL over calloing c.23:00h (Charlie Kitchin)
