SPOTTED FLYCATCHERS

This is a request, please, to start looking out for birds now, and to let me know immediately you see one, whether ringed or not, at: spofl@cambridgebirdclub.org.uk

Our highest priority target, which we need to catch, are the geolocator-tagged birds with red metal rings. We need to download the tag data to see where the birds have been. Second in importance are our un-tagged controls, with blue metal rings. There will also be birds around which we have ringed as nestlings; these will just have an uncoloured silver metal ring.

Fowlmere - fem Redstart (Ade Cooper)

Woodwalton Fen - 7+ Hobby, Cetti's Warbler (Matt Webb)

Fen Drayton Lakes - 3 Hobby (Chris Rider)

Wicken Fen - 6+ Hobby, also Short-eared Owl on Burwell Fen (Matt Mellor)
