SPOTTED FLYCATCHERS

This is a request, please, to start looking out for birds now, and to let me know immediately you see one, whether ringed or not, at: spofl@cambridgebirdclub.org.uk

Our highest priority target, which we need to catch, are the geolocator-tagged birds with red metal rings. We need to download the tag data to see where the birds have been. Second in importance are our un-tagged controls, with blue metal rings. There will also be birds around which we have ringed as nestlings; these will just have an uncoloured silver metal ring.

Haddenham - 3rd win Caspian Gull until 07:35h, juv male Hen Harrier, male Merlin, ad Yellow-legged Gull (as per ararebirdalert.com)

Dogsthorpe Tip - 1st win Caspian Gull briefly (Josh Jones)

Ouse Fen - ROUGH-LEGGED BUZZARD, 2 Hen Harriers, Short-eared Owl, c.500 Golden Plover, Cetti's Warbler (Colin Kirtland)

Nene Washes - 4 Short-eared Owls (Simon Phelps)
