SPOTTED FLYCATCHERS

This is a request, please, to start looking out for birds now, and to let me know immediately you see one, whether ringed or not, at: spofl@cambridgebirdclub.org.uk

Our highest priority target, which we need to catch, are the geolocator-tagged birds with red metal rings. We need to download the tag data to see where the birds have been. Second in importance are our un-tagged controls, with blue metal rings. There will also be birds around which we have ringed as nestlings; these will just have an uncoloured silver metal ring.

St. Ives GP - pair of Scaup amongst the Tufted Ducks (Bruce Martin)

Cambridge - Black Redstart at a private site briefly again this morning, but remains elusive (Peter Herkenrath)

Fen Drayton Lakes - Woodcock on entrance road (Pam Peacock); Green Sandpiper, Cetti's Warbler, 2 male Goldeneyes, 2 Grey Wagtails (Neil Renwick)
