SPOTTED FLYCATCHERS

This is a request, please, to start looking out for birds now, and to let me know immediately you see one, whether ringed or not, at: spofl@cambridgebirdclub.org.uk

Our highest priority target, which we need to catch, are the geolocator-tagged birds with red metal rings. We need to download the tag data to see where the birds have been. Second in importance are our un-tagged controls, with blue metal rings. There will also be birds around which we have ringed as nestlings; these will just have an uncoloured silver metal ring.

Grafham Water - 4 GREAT NORTHERN DIVER still, 2 adults and juv in centre of reservoir from Fishing Lodge late afternoon, and a juvenile feeding around boom, fem Scaup at Valley Creek, 2 Little Egret (Mark Hawkes, Jono Leadley, Colin Addington); also 2 Green Sandpipers, 5 Shovelers in lagoons (David Bale)
