SPOTTED FLYCATCHERS

This is a request, please, to start looking out for birds now, and to let me know immediately you see one, whether ringed or not, at: spofl@cambridgebirdclub.org.uk

Our highest priority target, which we need to catch, are the geolocator-tagged birds with red metal rings. We need to download the tag data to see where the birds have been. Second in importance are our un-tagged controls, with blue metal rings. There will also be birds around which we have ringed as nestlings; these will just have an uncoloured silver metal ring.

Buckden GP - fem type Mandarin, 2 Green Sandpipers, Common Sandpiper (Mark Hawkes)

Cam Washes - 6 Greenshanks, 16 Green Sandpipers, 3 Avocets, 4 Common Sandpipers, 2 Black-tailed Godwits, 2 Ruff, juv Cuckoo, Hobby (David & Jonathan Heath)
