SPOTTED FLYCATCHERS

This is a request, please, to start looking out for birds now, and to let me know immediately you see one, whether ringed or not, at: spofl@cambridgebirdclub.org.uk

Our highest priority target, which we need to catch, are the geolocator-tagged birds with red metal rings. We need to download the tag data to see where the birds have been. Second in importance are our un-tagged controls, with blue metal rings. There will also be birds around which we have ringed as nestlings; these will just have an uncoloured silver metal ring.

Fen Drayton lakes - at Ferry Lagoon Common Sandpiper, Little Ringed Plover, Little Egret, Hobby (Andy Cotton)

Paxton Pits - Whinchat, 5+ Little Egrets, 2 Green Sandpipers, 7+ Common Sandpipers (Jamie Wells)

Isleham - 7 Green Sandpipers, 6 Greenshanks, 5 Ruffs, 3 Common Sandpipers (Dave Palmer)
