SPOTTED FLYCATCHERS

This is a request, please, to start looking out for birds now, and to let me know immediately you see one, whether ringed or not, at: spofl@cambridgebirdclub.org.uk

Our highest priority target, which we need to catch, are the geolocator-tagged birds with red metal rings. We need to download the tag data to see where the birds have been. Second in importance are our un-tagged controls, with blue metal rings. There will also be birds around which we have ringed as nestlings; these will just have an uncoloured silver metal ring.

Grafham Water - 5 Black Terns off Mander CP, 9+ Green Sandpipers, eclipse male Garganey, eclipse male SCAUP, fem Ruddy Duck, 2 Common Sandpipers, Little Egret (Mark Hawkes; Jim Guthrie)

Maxey Pits - Wood Sandpiper, 3 Common Sandpipers (John Saunders); 8 Green Sandpipers, Little Egret, 2 Grey Wagtails (Leon Smith)
