SPOTTED FLYCATCHERS

This is a request, please, to start looking out for birds now, and to let me know immediately you see one, whether ringed or not, at: spofl@cambridgebirdclub.org.uk

Our highest priority target, which we need to catch, are the geolocator-tagged birds with red metal rings. We need to download the tag data to see where the birds have been. Second in importance are our un-tagged controls, with blue metal rings. There will also be birds around which we have ringed as nestlings; these will just have an uncoloured silver metal ring.

Maxey Pits - 2 Wood Sandpiper, 4 Avocet, Green Sandpiper, 2 Common Sandpiper, Dunlin, 2 Kingfisher (Brian Stone)

Grafham water - 3+ juv Mediterranean Gull off the sailing club by 20:45h, 2 Ringed Plover, 6 Dunlin, 9 Common Sandpiper, 10+ Yellow-legged Gull (Mark Hawkes)
