SPOTTED FLYCATCHERS

This is a request, please, to start looking out for birds now, and to let me know immediately you see one, whether ringed or not, at: spofl@cambridgebirdclub.org.uk

Our highest priority target, which we need to catch, are the geolocator-tagged birds with red metal rings. We need to download the tag data to see where the birds have been. Second in importance are our un-tagged controls, with blue metal rings. There will also be birds around which we have ringed as nestlings; these will just have an uncoloured silver metal ring.

Ferry Meadows - Shag on Gunwade Lake 20:10h (Brian Stone); Shag roosting by the watersports centre 20:37h and Curlew over (Mike Weedon); also Hobby, 30+ Common Terns (Matt Webb)

Witcham - Merlin (David Hopkins)

Maxey Pits - Greenshank, Green Sandpiper, Dunlin, Little Ringed Plover (Mike Weedon)
