Fen Drayton Lakes - male BLUE-WINGED TEAL feeding on the scrape next to Ferry Mere with Teal 11:00h, but a little elusive (Dennis Hall); still present 16:20h, also Green Sandpiper (Mark Peck). Please keep to the riverbank footpath as the grasslands in that area are home to breeding waders, many of which have chicks hiding in the long grass.

Ouse Washes RSPB - 3 SPOTTED CRAKES calling at dusk, two of which can be heard from the visitor centre (Mike Burdekin)
