SPOTTED FLYCATCHERS

This is a request, please, to start looking out for birds now, and to let me know immediately you see one, whether ringed or not, at: spofl@cambridgebirdclub.org.uk

Our highest priority target, which we need to catch, are the geolocator-tagged birds with red metal rings. We need to download the tag data to see where the birds have been. Second in importance are our un-tagged controls, with blue metal rings. There will also be birds around which we have ringed as nestlings; these will just have an uncoloured silver metal ring.

Grafham Water - Great White Egret, Black-necked Grebe, 2 Osprey, Nuthatch (Richard Patient)

Eldernell - 3 Redstart, all within a few hundred yards of the car park (Andrew Gardener)

Grange Farm, Witcham - 2 Redstart (David Hopkins)
