SPOTTED FLYCATCHERS

This is a request, please, to start looking out for birds now, and to let me know immediately you see one, whether ringed or not, at: spofl@cambridgebirdclub.org.uk

Our highest priority target, which we need to catch, are the geolocator-tagged birds with red metal rings. We need to download the tag data to see where the birds have been. Second in importance are our un-tagged controls, with blue metal rings. There will also be birds around which we have ringed as nestlings; these will just have an uncoloured silver metal ring.

Grafham Water - 47+ Black Tern, 75+ Common Tern this evening (Richard Patient)

Nene washes - 2 CATTLE EGRET near Dog-in-a-Doublet sluice 06:00h, a mile west of Eldernell CP by 07:00h and then back on Low Wash (Mike Weedon)

Fen Drayton Lakes - 2 Great White Egret (Graeme Reed)
