SPOTTED FLYCATCHERS

This is a request, please, to start looking out for birds now, and to let me know immediately you see one, whether ringed or not, at: spofl@cambridgebirdclub.org.uk

Our highest priority target, which we need to catch, are the geolocator-tagged birds with red metal rings. We need to download the tag data to see where the birds have been. Second in importance are our un-tagged controls, with blue metal rings. There will also be birds around which we have ringed as nestlings; these will just have an uncoloured silver metal ring.

Ouse Washes - Scaup, Short-eared Owl (Brendan Doe); Rock Pipit & 10 Water Pipit, Crane, Short-eared Owl, Peregrine to north of Fortrey (David Hopkins)

Eldernell - Great White Egret, 4 Crane, Curlew, 3 Short-eared Owl (Mike Weedon)
Pidley - Short-eared Owl between the village and Old Hurst (Russell  Watkins)

Wilbraham Fen -1500+ Golden Plover, 4 Corn Bunting, 5 Water Rail (Carl Howard)
