SPOTTED FLYCATCHERS

This is a request, please, to start looking out for birds now, and to let me know immediately you see one, whether ringed or not, at: spofl@cambridgebirdclub.org.uk

Our highest priority target, which we need to catch, are the geolocator-tagged birds with red metal rings. We need to download the tag data to see where the birds have been. Second in importance are our un-tagged controls, with blue metal rings. There will also be birds around which we have ringed as nestlings; these will just have an uncoloured silver metal ring.

Fen Drayton Lakes - 4 Caspian Gull (Calum Urquart); Slavonian Grebe (Richard Thomas)

Holme Fen - 2 Short-eared Owl, 2 male Hen Harrier, Merlin, Great White Egret (Chris Park)

Great Fen - Short-eared Owl (Vic & Pauline Cozens)
