SPOTTED FLYCATCHERS

This is a request, please, to start looking out for birds now, and to let me know immediately you see one, whether ringed or not, at: spofl@cambridgebirdclub.org.uk

Our highest priority target, which we need to catch, are the geolocator-tagged birds with red metal rings. We need to download the tag data to see where the birds have been. Second in importance are our un-tagged controls, with blue metal rings. There will also be birds around which we have ringed as nestlings; these will just have an uncoloured silver metal ring.

Beeby's BP - Black Tern briefly 12:30h (Paul Taylor)

Grafham Water - 3 Black Terns (as per RBA)

Hauxton - 2 Hobbies (Mike Foley)

Farcet - 2 Cetti's Warblers at Crown Lakes this morning (Steve Dudley)

Paxton Pits - juv Little Stint, 2 Greenshanks, 8 Little Egrets, 2 Peregrines, Hobby, 6 Buzzards (Monica & Owen Marks)
