SPOTTED FLYCATCHERS

This is a request, please, to start looking out for birds now, and to let me know immediately you see one, whether ringed or not, at: spofl@cambridgebirdclub.org.uk

Our highest priority target, which we need to catch, are the geolocator-tagged birds with red metal rings. We need to download the tag data to see where the birds have been. Second in importance are our un-tagged controls, with blue metal rings. There will also be birds around which we have ringed as nestlings; these will just have an uncoloured silver metal ring.

Aldreth - REDSTART, Wheatear, juv Hobby (Paul Mason)

Ouse Fen Road, Over - 4 Wheatears, Marsh Harrier (Graham Askew)

Cow Lane Pits, Godmanchester - 2 Cetti's Warblers, 2 Common Sandpipers (Gareth Ridewood)
