Comberton - GREAT GREY SHRIKE. As you enter the village from Cambridge direction, turn left at the mini-roundabout. After 50m the road become a track (named the Drift). Park here and walk along the track for about 400m. The shrike was at the back of the field on the left after the small wood (Mike Crosby)

From the Nene area: Thorney Dyke - 200 Whooper Swan, 11 Bewick's Swan, 64 Crane, Cattle Egret. Dog-in-a-Doublet - 300 Bewick's Swan, 10 Crane north of sluice (Peterborough bird news)
