SPOTTED FLYCATCHERS

This is a request, please, to start looking out for birds now, and to let me know immediately you see one, whether ringed or not, at: spofl@cambridgebirdclub.org.uk

Our highest priority target, which we need to catch, are the geolocator-tagged birds with red metal rings. We need to download the tag data to see where the birds have been. Second in importance are our un-tagged controls, with blue metal rings. There will also be birds around which we have ringed as nestlings; these will just have an uncoloured silver metal ring.

Coveney, Byall Fen - 17 Wood Sandpiper, Sanderling, Spotted Redshank. Also WRYNECK seen at dusk Sunday, 7 May c. 1/2 mile north of Witcham Gravel but no sign today (David Hopkins)

March Farmers - SPOONBILL, Grey Plover, 5 Greenshank (Mike Weedon)
