SPOTTED FLYCATCHERS

This is a request, please, to start looking out for birds now, and to let me know immediately you see one, whether ringed or not, at: spofl@cambridgebirdclub.org.uk

Our highest priority target, which we need to catch, are the geolocator-tagged birds with red metal rings. We need to download the tag data to see where the birds have been. Second in importance are our un-tagged controls, with blue metal rings. There will also be birds around which we have ringed as nestlings; these will just have an uncoloured silver metal ring.

Ferry Meadows - 2 Redstarts, 8+ Spotted Flycatchers (Brian Stone)

Grafham Water - 3 Black Terns from Mander CP, 22 Siskins over, Spotted Flycatcher, c.10 Yellow Wagtails, 2+ Hobbies, 2+ Little Egrets (Mark Hawkes)

Duxford - Wheatear on the airfield 16:00h (Andy Harrold)
