Fen Drayton Lakes - male BLUE-WINGED TEAL showed well but briefly at 11:45h (Tony Lowe). Still present late evening, with a metal ring of unknown type on its right leg (Steve Cooper). Please keep to the riverbank footpath as the grasslands in that area are home to breeding waders, many of which have chicks hiding in the long grass.

Fen Drayton Lakes - male BLUE-WINGED TEAL feeding on the scrape next to Ferry Mere with Teal 11:00h, but a little elusive (Dennis Hall); still present 16:20h, also Green Sandpiper (Mark Peck). Please keep to the riverbank footpath as the grasslands in that area are home to breeding waders, many of which have chicks hiding in the long grass.
